About Me

Hi! I’m Mary Ashton Hughes

I was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama and am still here 21 years later! I am a senior at the University of West Alabama, majoring in marketing with a concentration in graphic design. I have been working in the digital marketing field for two years and have had two internships and now a full time position at a firm. 

My current role is both demanding and rewarding! I spend most of my time creating various types of social media content for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. This content consists of a mix of graphics, carousels, and short form videos. One of my favorite parts of my job is content shoots! My team travels to our client’s location to collect photos and videos to use for ads, website, and social media. I currently manage 4 clients: Blackstone Building Group, Haus of Beauty Medical and Aesthetics, JH Berry Risk Services, and Homewood Santa Claus Society. I am very passionate about my role and thouroughly enjoy creating content that conveys the brand message of each company.
